As a calligrapher, it is always fun for Emma and I to be able to collaborate on quote artwork for each issue of The Antiquarian Post.
Sometimes, the process starts off with the perfect inspirational words and the artwork is added (this was the case for the Sitting Bull quote, above). Other times, we have gorgeous artwork (like the tan & white butterflies, below) and I go on a hunt for lovely words to incorporate into the design.
Whichever way it happens, it's one of the best parts of the process for me. Spring may almost be succumbing to the sweltering heat of summer...but there is still time to enjoy it's delights!
