Calligraphy Tutorial | the capital letter "K"

Better late than never! We're in the midst of final preparations for our workshops this weekend and we couldn't be more EXCITED. There are still some spots available-so hurry if you'd like to snag a last minute seat!

The capital letter "K" is a really pretty if not kind of tricky letter. Lining up the diagonals on the right-hand side is always a little difficult to master. The key is making certain that the left-hand line is parallel to the right-hand side--so imagine that there are 2 diagonals (or even better-draw them) when your practicing your letter.

Personally, we like when the "K" dips a little below the line (like in #1 and #3). It makes the word FLOW nicely and FIT together well.

Busy, busy over here…but we WANT to see your work! Be sure to tag it with #letterschool on Instagram (we're @antiquariadesign) and let us know if you have any questions.

Until next time…
Peace, Love and Letters,
Emma & Bailey
