How's the practicing coming along? Good? Hopefully you were able to squeeze in some time over the long weekend to get a little lettering in. Maybe even for some Thanksgiving place-cards!
Today, were back with the capital letter "E"! HOORAY! "E" is a gorgeous letter...don't you think? So curvy and pretty. It's usually nice if you bring the "E" a little below your lowercase line to give it weight. See how the E's are all lower than the "m" next to it? It helps with the balance of the word and line of text that you're writing.
Each style shown is done in one stroke, with pressure as you come down and make the loops. The third options is a little different-but also really fun to try!
Which is your favorite? Try 'em all and see!
We want to see your progress...so be sure to tag your lettering practice pictures on Instagram with #letterschool. Also feel free to ask us questions at @antiquariadesign or leave us a comment below!
Til next time...
Peace, Love & Letters,
Emma & Bailey
