Real Invitation | Kristin & John's Hand Stamped Kraft Calligraphy Accent Suite

Every so often, one of our awesome stamp clients emails us to tell us how they used our stamps for their Invites (or Save the Dates).  Today...I'm really excited to share Kristin & John's Calligraphy Accent Suite. It's so gorgeous and totally budget friendly!

From Kristin:

"I was inspired by a post on the Oh So Beautiful Paper website that I found on Pinterest. I loved the look of white on brown and wanted to recreate it on my own. Searching for custom stamped designs on their site, I came across the Antiquaria post for the Rubber Stamp DIY Tutorial and fell in love with the stamp in the post. I stamped onto the "paper bag" colored paper with white ink, covered with white embossing powder and embossed with a heating gun. The map was hand drawn by me, scanned in and colored in PhotoShop, then printed onto the soft white colored card stock. I tied all of them together with a piece of soft flat stretch lace. The envelope liner was printed on 24lb white 8 1/2 x 11 printer paper and then trimmed down using an A7 envelope liner template from Paper Source. It was then glued in with a glue stick. The liner says JOHN & KRISTIN & repeatedly and the wedding date in between each line, April 28, 2012 *. The liner design was created simply in Microsoft Word."

Supplies:

Paper, envelopes and embossing supplies: All from Paper Source
  Invitation: A7, Paper Bag
  Map: A6, Soft White
  RSVP: A2, Paper Bag
  Envelopes: A7, Paper Bag
Lace: sold at Michael's but I bought directly from the supplier at www.simplicity.com for less

Not only is this suite lovely and custom, it only cost about $320 total. She made 125 so it came out to $2.56 each. Not too much of a dent in the wedding budget I'd say!!

And as a little bonus...Kristin's sent over her stamped Thank You notes as well!!

We just love the green...imagine all your thank you on these written with a white gel pen...so fun!!
Thanks again Kristin!
