Calligraphy Tutorial | the capital letter "L"
Whew! It's been a fun and crazy start to February already. On Saturday and Sunday we hosted our first 2 calligraphy workshops in Austin, TX (we'll be back with a fun recap later this week). We're floored by the talent that attended and hope that everyone came away excited to practice and a further appreciation of lettering!
This week, we're covering the capital letter "L." It's a very pretty letter with some really fun variations. How much do you LOVE that last option? It may be the hardest of the bunch but it's definitely worth working on since it's so stinking cute!
The key to "L" is getting the flow of the letter. Since they're all made in one stroke, it takes a little while to get the hang of the shape.
Wishing you a wonderful week! Happy practicing:)
Until next time…
