New! | Patterned Papers

We are so excited to finally have our line of patterned papers available for sale! This crop of new goodies has been in the making for what seems like ages.

After using pattern upon pattern in our DIY's and Custom Designs, we are so glad to be able to offer them to all of you! No more needing to custom order these designs!

The line consists of watercolored patterns as well as gorgeous vintage botanicals.

There are tons of different ways to use both the text & card weight paper (like envelope liners, shown above)...and we are excited to share the techniques and ideas with you!

Stay tuned...more ideas coming (very) soon!

Scenes from the Post | the Fette

We had such a blast putting together this spring-time party for our latest issue of The Antiquarian Post. From developing the scrumptious tea-sandwhich and sangria recipes (yum)...to finding the perfect place settings with which to set the table, it was one classy affair!

For the recipes and more scenes from the fette...pop over to the issue and check it out! A big thanks to Kelly Lynn James for the gorgeous photos from the shoot!

The Antiquarian Post | Spring 2013

It's that time again! We've just wrapped up our Spring 2013 issue of The Antiquarian Post!

This issue is full of gorgeous entertaining inspiration and features some of the newest additions to our shop (like our line of printed papers)! While it may almost be summer, there's still plenty of time to cut a few spring posies and invite over your loved ones to celebrate the beauty of the season!

This is a very special issue to us as we also feature the wedding of our own Bailey Amon to Dominic Rivera. Bailey is a partner at Antiquaria and last spring was spent enveloped in planning their sea-side nuptuals. We had a hand in almost every detail of the day, so it is such a pleasure to finally be able to share it all with you!

We hope you enjoy the issue!

The Antiquarian Post | Issue No. 4 : Summer 2012

Open publication - Free publishing - More antiquaria

We've been super busy here in the Antiquarian Design Studio this Summer. As hectic it's been (Bailey's wedding etc), we couldn't bare the thought of skipping a season of the Post so here it is!  This summer we were inspired by vintage embroideries, rainbows of dishes, warm summer hues and delicious fruity cocktails. As everything starts to settle back to normal, we're looking forward to some long afternoons with our toes in the sand and a good book (suggestions are welcome!).
Hope you enjoy!

xoxo Bailey & Emma

A special thanks to Kelly for the gorgeous photography and to Jamie for assisting Kelly :)

The Antiquarian Post | The Artwork

The artwork from The Antiquarian Post Issue No. 3 was too good not to share on it's own.
The watercolor botanical sketches were illustrated by Emma James. The Dr. Seuss quote was hand lettered by Bailey Amon.

The Antiquarian Post | Issue No. 3 / Winter 2012

We are excited to unveil the Winter 2012 issue of The Antiquarian Post.
Hearkening back to the time of the traditional Dutch Master painters, we've brought a romantic feel to this dark and cold season in our winter issue of The Antiquarian Post. We were inspired by unusual objects whose details are fine art on their own. Curated and collected objects that would be worthy of the Masters. We certainly hope you enjoy our interpretation of this age old tradition and the romance and mystery that it comes along with it.

The Antiquarian Post | Issue No. 1, Fall 2011

We are super excited to debut the first issue of Antiquaria's seasonal online magazine, The Antiquarian Post. We created The Antiquarian Post as a place where we could explore our current inspiration and obsessions. We had a blast collaborating with Elizabeth Lewis (floral extraordinaire) of The Nouveau Romantics and our superstar photographer, Robert Bredvad
In this issue:
A Sun Faded Fall
The Fall 2011 issue brings imagery of a sun-faded Indian summer meandering gently into brisk autumn days. Age-worn collections gathered over well traveled summers, Navajo rugs, and sun-bleached textiles
conjure warmth and comfort as crisp winds start to blow through autumnally toned leaves.

Cheers & Enjoy!
Bailey & Emma
