Calligraphy Tutorial | the Capital Letter "H"

Howdy and Happy New Year! We certainly hope that the holidays treated everyone well and maybe that you even got a little calligraphy practice in. For us, we spent the time relaxing with family and gearing up for a VERY big year here at Antiquaria!

Without further ado...we're back with the Capital Letter "H"!! It's another good one folks. The first "H" is even done in one stroke. YAHOO! You can also choose whether or not you want to have the righthand side dip a little below the line (like in the second sample) or have it connect to the word (or not). One key to remember is to keep the down-strokes parallel to one another (unless you want to be a rule breaker-and that's fine too!). If they're parallel, the letter and word will look more balanced.

As always, let us know if you have any questions in the comments below or on Instagram (@antiquariadesign). We also would LOVE to see you progress to tag your snapshots with #letterschool!

Until next time...
Peace, Love and Letters,
Emma & Bailey
