The Antiquarian Post | Issue No. 4 : Summer 2012

Open publication - Free publishing - More antiquaria

We've been super busy here in the Antiquarian Design Studio this Summer. As hectic it's been (Bailey's wedding etc), we couldn't bare the thought of skipping a season of the Post so here it is!  This summer we were inspired by vintage embroideries, rainbows of dishes, warm summer hues and delicious fruity cocktails. As everything starts to settle back to normal, we're looking forward to some long afternoons with our toes in the sand and a good book (suggestions are welcome!).
Hope you enjoy!

A special thanks to Kelly for the gorgeous photography and to Jamie for assisting Kelly :)

Our Stamps Have a New Look!!

We are thrilled to announce that we've made the switch to acrylic mounts for all of our stamp designs!!
Not only do the mounts make the product look clean, sleek and beautiful...they vastly improve their functionality & make printing the stamps easier!

Acrylic mounts, on left, stamp have not yet been inked, on right, inked to show visibility!

All orders from today (7/20/12) on will be produced using this new mounting technique! We couldn't be more excited for this change & we hope that everyone loves the new look as much as we do!!

We've also added designs to the shop...so pop on over and check them out!

Happily Married!

It's been a whirlwind of a week back after the wedding last week! Thank you for everyone's patience while we celebrated by the sea.

Surrounded by about 20 of our closest friends and family, we exchanged vows on a cliff over looking the Pacific Ocean. In our eyes, it couldn't have been more perfect and the day couldn't have gone more smoothly. After over eight years of dating, we were ready to get the party started and become man & wife.

Our wedding was truly a labor of love from friends and family who all traveled to La Jolla for the event.

Photography was done by Studio Austin Weddings (Kelly James is Emma's sis-in-law & will be our featured photographer in the upcoming issues of The Antiquarian Post)
Floral Design was coordinated by The Nouveau Romantics (Liz is one of our dear friends and has contributed her floral talents to many an Antiquarian photo-shoot).
Most of our other guests pitched in too, either by setting up chairs, keeping our nerves calm or helping with the other little details that always seem to pop up on the day of!

We have so much more to share about the event so stay tuned for updates & for our special wedding issue of The Antiquarian Post in the fall!

Hope everyone has had a great holiday week!

xoxo
Bailey
